PUERTO PLATA

Puerto Plata, also known as "The Bride of the Atlantic", is a magical place that has gained popularity among tourists from all over the world. It stands out for its Victorian architecture, exuberant vegetation, mountains and sea. Its name was given by Christopher Columbus, who named it after seeing the spectacular sight of the clouds shimmering over Loma Isabel de Torres and the vast blue coast. It should be noted that Puerto Plata was the first place Christopher Columbus visited on January 12, 1493.

Amber Cove

Amber Cove is a port destination and cruise terminal that is popular with travelers visiting the north coast of the Dominican Republic. It's a great place to stop and do some duty-free shopping, with lots of deals on clothing and souvenirs. But that's not all: you can also sunbathe by the pool and bar, or rent a cabana next to the beach. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a snorkel tour to explore the vibrant reefs of the Caribbean. The rainy season is from May to October, so visit the dry season for the best experience.

Teleferico de Puerto Plata

The Puerto Plata cable car is a unique tourist attraction in the Dominican Republic. It offers an exciting cable car ride to the top of Isabel de Torres Mountain, 800 meters above sea level.

Once you reach the top, you find yourself in a spectacular natural park with stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the city of Puerto Plata. Also, at the top you will find a replica of the famous Christ the Redeemer of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which is a major landmark and tourist attraction.

Taino Bay

Taino Bay is an impressive tourist attraction located in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. With more than 300 acres, this beach resort is one of the most sought after tourist destinations in the entire Caribbean.
